The decision was taken during a meeting held at the North Western Railway headquarters under the chairmanship of Zonal Railway General Manager Amitabh. The railway administration plans to operate special trains from major cities to Ringas station, which serves as the main rail gateway for Khatu Shyam Ji pilgrims.

Extra Coaches in Regular Trains

Based on passenger demand assessments, additional coaches will be attached to regular trains to handle increased travel volume. Authorities will also increase the number of unreserved coaches to facilitate easier travel for devotees.

Focus on Safe and Comfortable Travel

Railway officials emphasized that providing safe, smooth, and comfortable travel during the mela remains the top priority. Measures will be taken to ensure punctual train operations and efficient crowd management.

Security and Crowd Management at Ringas Station

Security arrangements will be strengthened with better coordination between the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP). Special arrangements such as barricading and designated holding areas will be set up to manage passenger flow efficiently.
